Mount Washington Observatory

Mount Washington Observatory is a nonprofit research and educational institution working to advance understanding of Earth's weather and climate. They offer tours of their weather station, as well as all kinds of student, teacher, and youth programs. They also have an extreme weather museum – Mount Washington is actually home to some of the world’s most intense weather! We normally always display current conditions on Mount Washington in our TV room.

The White Mountain region, specifically Mt. Washington Valley, is one of the premier biking mountain biking destinations in the entire northeast. From paved paths to rugged, challenging mountain terrain, bikers of all skill levels can find a route that takes them on an experience truly unlike any other. We also offer bike rack storage and basic repair tools including air pumps for all of our guests.

Tin Mountain Conservation Center is a non-profit that provides educational programs for school children, adults, and families, aimed at promoting greater awareness and understanding of the natural environment and how it impacts humans, and vice versa. Our guests will enjoy their programs free of charge or at a discounted rate. Just mention your reservation number when you reserve your spot with any of their programs!
